Prudentes Punk formed in Mexico City in the early 1980s with Arturo Meza on vocals, Luis Gerardo on guitar, Javier Ramirez on bass, and Carlos Hernandez on drums. They played in underground venues during a period of political tension, and their lyrics often addressed social issues like police brutality and corruption.
In 1986, they released the album 'Corazón,' which included the title track that became a well-known song in Mexican punk. Other songs from their catalog include 'En La Carrera,' 'Fue Por Ti,' and 'La Culpa.'
The band's lineup changed over time. Luis Gerardo left in 1998 and was replaced by Enrique Hernandez. Carlos Hernandez died in 2007, and Alejandro Jacome took over on drums. They continued to record albums like 'Sangre y Fuego' in 2010.
