PS I Love You formed in Perth around 2011 with Ben Durling and Johnny Turturro, later adding Jono Steer on bass and Luke Allen on drums. Their early shows in Western Australia built a following with a mix of indie pop and shoegaze elements.
In 2014 they put out their first album, "Death Dreams," which included the track "Meet Me At The Muster Station." That song became something of a calling card for the band, helping them reach a wider audience beyond Perth.
Luke Allen left the group in 2015, and Michael Frank took over on drums. A few years later, in 2018, Ben Durling faced accusations of inappropriate behavior toward a fan, which led to some canceled shows and an apology from Durling.
