Blind

Pierce through the soul

Leaving the raging eye that keeps

You sullen and inhale the lives of

Ones that leave you cold

But, just a little bold

And look to the sky screaming a

Bitter prayer that no one will

Answer to far from the foreign

Tirade that bled your mind

And left you dry,

Pay for sorrow and

Lay down empty

Like a broken toy

Pray hard for something to hold

On to and then you die

To love or be loved

Tear out the pages that teaches of

Turning the cheek

Cuz that's for the meek ones

Give over your soul

He says, not much to ask

But most will oblige

And on bent knee

You drink of the holy wine

Injected with sodom and

Turn from the poison shrine

That leaves you morbid,

Afraid to die,

Smell the lie,

Leaving you blind
