Pudinastico

Pudinastico formed in São Paulo around the late 1990s when Duda and Thiago met as teenagers. They started as a duo, eventually expanding to include Pedro on drums, Felipe on keyboards, and Gabriel on percussion. Their sound pulls from samba, funk, and rock, a mix that found its first real audience with the 2006 single 'Bolinho de Arroz.' That song became a summer staple across Brazil, its melody and lyrics catching on at parties and festivals.

In 2010, the band faced a plagiarism claim over 'Bolinho de Arroz,' which they successfully defended. A few years later, in 2014, Thiago was diagnosed with a rare cancer. They've released albums like 'Pudinastico' in 2008, 'Samba de Verão' in 2012, and 'Tudo vai Dar Certo' in 2016, maintaining a steady presence without chasing dramatic reinvention.
