Pure Pleazure formed in 1974 with Paul Johnson on vocals, John Martyn on guitar, Kevin Bass on bass, Chris Rea on keyboards, and Jim Mullen on drums. They put out their self-titled debut album in 1976, followed by records like 'Silhouettes' and 'Women in My Life.'
Their track 'In & Out Of Love' with Denisha came out in 1977 and became a dance floor staple, though its lyrics drew some criticism at the time. Other songs from that period include 'My Final Goodbye' and 'When Will You Come Back To Me.'
The band broke up around 1980. They've had reunions since, but those early records from the mid-to-late '70s are what people tend to remember.
