A burlesque-inspired pop group that scored with 'Don't Cha' and 'Buttons' before going on hiatus.
For their biggest moment, 'Don't Cha' still sounds like a statement. 'Stickwitu' shows their pop side without the production fireworks.
The Pussycat Dolls arrived with a specific, flashy sound that was hard to ignore. Their 2005 single 'Don't Cha' with Busta Rhymes became an immediate hit, and tracks like 'Buttons' and 'Stickwitu' kept them on the charts. Their blend of pop hooks with burlesque-style performances made them a conversation piece, for better and worse.
They started as a nightclub act put together by choreographer Robin Antin in 2003. After signing with Interscope, their debut album 'PCD' came out in 2005, followed by 'Doll Domination' in 2008. The group went on hiatus after their last single 'Hush Hush' in 2009.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
