Pyrrah

Pyrrah was a metal band with Aurore Day on vocals, Daedalus on guitar, Egil on bass, and Brutal on drums. They came up through the underground scene and put out albums like 'The Shadow of Doubt', 'Melancholic Visions', and 'Carvings'. Their sound was heavy and unapologetic, with songs like 'Bestial Plague' and 'Human Debris' that leaned into themes of violence and the occult.

Their lyrics sometimes stirred things up with critics, but they mostly kept to themselves and stuck with what they wanted to do. 'Bestial Plague' in particular became a track people knew them for, with its guttural vocals and heavy riffs. Other songs like 'Sleepwalkers' and 'The Lake Of Burning Suffering' followed in that same vein.

They weren't a band that chased trends or tried to smooth out their edges. The music just came through raw, and that's what connected with their listeners. After a few albums, they left behind a body of work that felt complete on its own terms.
