Q5 formed in 2016 with members Ken, Ta-kun, Ryota, and Hiro. Their debut album 'First Stage' came out the following year. Songs like 'Come And Gone' and 'Missing In Action' show up in their catalog.
Their music pulls from J-pop, rock, and electronic sounds. The band faced some early skepticism about breaking through, and in 2018 there were allegations from a former member that Q5 denied. They kept working after that.
Later albums included 'The One' and 'Genesis.' Ken handles lead vocals, Ta-kun is the guitarist and main composer, Ryota plays bass, and Hiro is the drummer.
