A short-lived 1970s rock act whose biggest hit, 'Love Bites,' still gets radio play today.
For the hit, obviously 'Love Bites.' To hear something else, try 'Perfect Bliss', it's a good example of what else they were doing.
Qed's 'Love Bites' was a genuine chart-topper across multiple countries in 1975, which is more than most bands from that era can claim. That song's staying power on rock radio gives them a foothold in the classic rock conversation. Beyond that hit, tracks like 'Perfect Bliss' and 'Solo He Quedado' show there was more to their catalog.
They formed in the 1970s and released their self-titled debut in 1974. The band put out four albums in five years, ending with 'The Last Laugh' in 1979. Their run stopped that same year when drummer John Bonham died.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
