A Rio de Janeiro crew mixing funk, pop, and pagode since 2018.
For their sound, start with 'Deixe Essa Mina' or 'Floripa Vibes.' The apology year and 'Tapa na Sociedade' tell another part of the story.
QuadSon arrived with 'Deixe Essa Mina' in 2019 and immediately became a festival staple. Their sound, a blend of funk, pop, and pagode, created anthems like 'Essas Vadias Me Amam' that defined a certain Brazilian party energy. They also faced criticism for lyrics in 2020, apologized, and kept making music that people danced to.
They formed in Rio in 2018, released their debut single the next year, and built a catalog of EPs and a 2021 self-titled album. The pandemic shifted them to virtual shows after their live circuit got interrupted. Their music kept evolving through those changes.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
