Quarteto Ministério formed in Goiânia in 1986 with four members: Isaías Marques, Flavio Santana, João Marcos, and Israel Eduardo. They started playing in local churches and put out their first album, 'Cristo Vive,' in 1989. Their songs like 'Um Amor que se fez Homem' and 'Cada Dia' are straightforward Christian music built around vocal harmonies.
In 1990, they released 'História de Amor,' which became widely known in Brazil. The song's narrative about redemption connected with listeners beyond just church audiences. They kept recording through the 1990s with albums such as 'Quatro' and 'Compromisso.'
They've continued to perform and record, putting out an album called 'Vinte Anos' in 2006.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
