Quarteto Shekinah formed in São Paulo in the late 1990s with Angela Back, Sônia Guimarães, Valquíria Oliveira, and Deise Jacinto. Their first album, 'Voz da Verdade,' came out in 1999. The group has seen some lineup changes over time, with Valquíria Oliveira leaving in 2003 and Deise Jacinto departing in 2014.
Their music blends gospel with contemporary pop sounds, built around vocal harmonies. They've put out more than twenty albums, including 'Eu Vou Cantar' in 2005 and 'Lindo Céu' in 2007. The song 'Eu vou cantar / Lindo Céu' is one of their better-known tracks.
As of the last available information, the quartet included Angela Back, Sônia Guimarães, Verônica Sacer, and Amanda Rodrigues.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
