Quarto 115 formed in São Paulo in 2015 with Pitty on vocals, Magoo on guitar, Pedro Pelotas on bass, and Duda Machado on drums. They put out their first album the following year, simply called 'Quarto 115'.
Their song 'Sair Daqui' came out in 2017 and got a lot of attention. It's one of those tracks people mention alongside 'Tudo acabou' and 'Voltar Atrás' when they talk about the band. They followed it with albums like 'Vazio' in 2018 and 'Samba Rock' in 2020.
The band's lyrics often took a direct, confrontational stance that drew both fans and critics. Their live shows were known for being intense, built around that raw energy they captured on recordings.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
