Que Believe formed in Los Angeles in the late 2000s around vocalist Erik Cannata and guitarist Josh Kiszka, who shared an interest in classic rock and blues. They were joined by bassist John Berg and drummer Danny Wagner. Their debut album 'The Magic Hour' came out in 2011, featuring the single 'Good Day'.
That first album established their sound, mixing rock with blues and soul elements. They followed it with 'Alive in the Fire' in 2015, 'Bloodline' in 2018, and 'Chapter One' in 2023. In 2014, they dealt with a lawsuit from a former manager over early recordings, which they eventually resolved.
Their music shows influences from artists like Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, and Sam Cooke. They've worked with musicians including Slash, Billy Gibbons, and Beth Hart.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
