A German quartet that found its breakout with 'Butterfly' and kept recording through lineup changes.
For the big pop moment, 'Butterfly' is the obvious one. But 'Flow' and 'Pack It Up' give you a better sense of their regular output.
Their catalog holds a specific kind of late-2000s European pop energy. The song 'Flow' captures that upbeat, polished sound they did well, and 'Butterfly' was the one that actually broke through in several countries. They kept putting out tracks like 'Pack It Up' and 'Delicate' long after the initial hype, which says something about sticking to a lane.
They formed in 2008 with Leonie Burger, Antonella Trapani, Selina Herrero, and Victoria Ulbrich, working with producer Dieter Bohlen. After 'Butterfly' hit, they released four albums before a hiatus in 2011, then reunited and continued with Ulbrich departing in 2015.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
