Quinta Dose formed in Brasília in the early 2000s, originally with Lilia Neves, Liége Negreiros, and Vanessa Leitão. Their debut album 'Madames de Luto' came out in 2004, and the title track became one of their best-known songs. They've released several albums since, including 'Não há Medusa sem Atena' in 2007 and 'Canções do Fim do Mundo' in 2020.
Their music often deals with social themes, and they've worked with other Brazilian artists like Lucas Ukáh on 'Amizade' and Costa Gold on 'Relatos de Um Breu Qualquer.' The current lineup includes Neves, Negreiros, and Leitão along with Cris Linhares, Marcelo Cabral, and Fábio Leandro.
Other songs in their catalog include 'Aqui É Sinistro,' 'Dor Não Se Compra' with Presságio Mc's, and 'Minha Vida É O Rap.' They've maintained a presence in Brazilian music for about two decades now.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
