Quirda is a Brazilian band that mixes samba, funk, and pop. Their song "Agilidade" became something of an anthem for them, and they've also released tracks like "Barco À Vela" and "Esperança."
Their debut album came out in 2015, also called Agilidade. They followed it with Samba Funk Fusion in 2018 and Identidade in 2021. The band includes Lucas Avelino on lead vocals, Fernanda Ribeiro on backing vocals and percussion, Pedro Silva on guitar, Caio Souza on bass, and Anderson Pereira on drums.
Some of their lyrics touch on social and political themes, which has drawn occasional criticism. They've said they believe music can be a force for change.
