Quisz formed in Portugal in the early 2000s with Miguel Ângelo on vocals, Pedro Jóia on guitar, Carlos Costa on bass, and João Ferreira on drums. Their first album, Quatro Estações, came out in 2003. They followed it with Acústico in 2005 and Alma in 2008.
Their song "Mais Uma Chance" became popular, mixing pop and rock with some traditional Portuguese fado elements. They released A Nova Era in 2011, which showed a more experimental side. Later albums included Mais in 2014 and Pérola in 2017.
In 2010, their song "Bola de Cristal" drew criticism for lyrics some saw as political. They defended the song but didn't make major changes to it. Another track, "Você Me Fazia Feliz," also got attention from listeners.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
