Qulinez formed in São Paulo in 2012 as a trio of Daniel Garcia, Caio Guedes, and Renato Esposto. They took their name from the idea of a rising sun, which later became the title of their most recognizable track.
In 2015, they released 'Rising Like The Sun (feat. Cara Salimando)' with vocals from Canadian singer Cara Salimando. The song became their breakthrough single, gaining attention in electronic dance music circles.
Their catalog includes early EPs called 'Aurora' and 'Horizon,' followed by a debut album titled 'Inception.' They've described their music as drawing from house, progressive, and trance elements, though they haven't released much material under the Qulinez name in recent years.
