Archive material and source history
R7rock came out of São Paulo playing hard rock. Their song "Aparição" became something of an anthem for them, capturing a certain raw energy that connected with fans. They put out their first album, "Guerreiros," in 1997.
The band is Rogerio Bessa on guitar and vocals, Bruno Grave on bass, Fabio Muggiati on drums, and Leonel Passaglia on rhythm guitar. They've stuck together through different projects, with Bessa's guitar work and vocals being a central part of their sound. Other songs like "Caos" and "Feliz Fim" show the range of their material.
In 2012, a performance at a festival drew criticism after Bessa threw a guitar into the crowd and injured someone. The band acknowledged the incident. They released another album called "IV" in 2017.
