Radakka

Radakka formed around lead vocalist and songwriter Anya Radchenko, with Ethan Hayes on guitar, Liam Carter on drums, and Alexia Martinez on bass. Their debut album 'Still a Stranger' came out in 2020, followed by 'Whispers in the Wind' in 2022. The title track from that first album, 'Still a Stranger,' became their most recognizable song, but their catalog includes other tracks like 'Cult of One,' 'Phantom #9,' and 'Whore.'

Radchenko's vocals give the band its distinctive sound, a kind of atmospheric alternative with folk and ambient textures. The lyrics tend toward the introspective, dealing with loneliness and identity. They've built a following with this approach, though some of their subject matter has drawn criticism alongside the admiration.

They're still working in that same vein, creating moody, layered music that doesn't fit neatly into one genre. It's more about atmosphere than hooks, with songs that unfold slowly rather than grabbing you right away.
