Radio Pandas formed in São Paulo in 1996 with vocalists Marcos Maia and André Midani, plus guitarist Henrique Portugal. Their debut album 'Pandemia' came out in 2001 and included the single 'A Música Do Adan,' which got some attention for its accordion solo and lyrics that some listeners found provocative.
They kept making albums like 'Rádio Ilógico' in 2004 and 'Diário Térmico' in 2010. Other songs in their catalog include 'Chamada a Cobrar' and 'Maria,Maria.'
Their sound had Brazilian rhythms and pop melodies, with lyrics that could be witty or satirical. They didn't really fit into one category, which made them stand out in the local scene without becoming mainstream stars.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
