Radiofiera

Radiofiera was an Italian band from Bologna that released five albums between 1993 and 2003. Their lineup included Marco Pandolfi on lead vocals, Andrea Fregni on guitar and vocals, Paolo Parpaglione on bass and vocals, and Pier Morandi on drums. Their 1995 album 'Il Sogno' became their breakthrough, featuring the title track that would become one of their most recognized songs.

Their music sometimes drew criticism for being too experimental or introspective, and they faced accusations of plagiarism regarding 'Il Sogno.' Some claimed the melody resembled a traditional Bulgarian folk song, which sparked debates about artistic borrowing. Despite this, songs like '30 Denari,' 'Allarme,' and 'Ama Il Tuo D.J.' maintained a following.

The band disbanded in 2003 after releasing their fifth album 'Cinque.' Their catalog shows a consistent output over a decade, with albums arriving every few years. While they never became mainstream fixtures, their work from that period still gets mentioned by listeners who remember that particular strain of Italian alternative rock.
