RadioVinte started in Rio de Janeiro in 2009, with a name that translates to Radio Twenty. The band includes Gabriel Moura on vocals and songwriting, Rafael Castro on bass, Felipe Rodrigues on drums, and Marcos Lobo on guitar. They put out their first album in 2013, simply called RadioVinte, and have since released three more: Não se Preocupe in 2015, Praia do Futuro in 2018, and Tempo in 2021.
Their 2012 single Até o Sol Raiar became a breakout hit, helping them reach a wider audience. Other songs like Querida Ester and A Dama da Noite show their mix of pop, rock, and Brazilian rhythms, with lyrics that often touch on love and everyday life.
In 2017, Gabriel Moura was in a car accident that led to a temporary break from the band. RadioVinte has also faced some criticism for songs that address political topics in Brazil, but they've kept making music that reflects their interests.
