A dragonfly landed on my friend linn's fingertip

Reminding us we need to rest on this the long strange trip

But also we did whisper that some change was on it's way

The old world it is crumbling and the new one starts today

I played the smart professor, yes I tried it on for size

I'm done with facts and figures now I hunger to be wise

And I find some okay is steeping inside this veil of tears

So call it delusion I call it getting on in years
