Some say we’re goin’ fast through life

But they don’t really know that feeling in your heart

You’ve gotta make it worth it til you die

We’re proud enough to never say they are right

No one’s been hitting, I feel it

Popping all the things they could to keep dreaming

Feelin’ lonely but don’t really feel a thing

You’re trying to show yourself but no one can see

I have been there before between the ashes

I know how it hurts to be a ghost when you’re not dead

But I’m starting to see why I feel like this I’ve been through some hard shit but

haven’t disappeared

We’re gonna get there in our own time

There’s no way we could leave it all behind

Just take the pressure and turn it into something to shine

No one’s been living or feeling

The fear of trying has been taking their dreams away

Afraid of dying they pretend there’s nothing to say
