Rafael Caçula

Rafael Caçula is an accordionist and vocalist from Campina Grande in northeastern Brazil. He grew up in a family of musicians and started playing at local festivals and weddings when he was young, forming his first band around age 12. His music works with the rhythms of forró, and his song "Fofoca" became a popular track at Brazilian parties.

He has released albums like "Fofoca" in 2004, "Sucessão de Hits" in 2005, and "No Forró do Caçula" in 2007. Other songs include "Panela de Barro," "Presente de Deus," and "Carioca da Gema." He has worked with artists such as Wesley Safadão, Bell Marques, and Xand Avião.

His band has included Ivanildo Lima on guitar, Edileuza Menezes on vocals, Marcos Aurélio on bass, and Glauco Nóbrega on drums. Some of his lyrics have drawn attention for touching on social and political topics, and his style has mixed in elements from other genres like funk and pop, which hasn't always sat well with traditional forró listeners.
