Ra$h formed in 1998 with Carlos "Chuck" Costa on vocals, João "John" Maia on guitar, Rui "Ruca" Pereira on bass, and Ricardo "Riko" Fernandes on drums. They came out of the Portuguese hardcore scene in the late 1990s. Their debut album "Autopsicopatologia" arrived in 2002.
Their 2004 album "Idem" included the song "Mentes Vazias," which became one of their better-known tracks. The band has kept releasing albums fairly regularly since then, with titles like "Consequências" in 2006, "Pura Raiv'a" in 2008, and "O Coração do Homem" in 2020.
The lineup listed in their materials still shows the same four original members: Costa, Maia, Pereira, and Fernandes. They've put out about ten studio albums over roughly two decades.
