Rahsaan Patterson is an American singer-songwriter who grew up in Washington, D.C. singing in church, with early influences that included Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder.
He signed with MCA Records in 1996 and released his self-titled debut album the following year. The single 'Where You Are' reached the top ten on the Billboard R&B chart. His second album, 'After Hours,' came out in 1999, followed by 'Love in Stereo' in 2001.
Some of his songs include 'Love Is Stronger Than Pride,' 'The One For Me,' and 'Stop By.' In 2003, he was involved in a legal dispute with MCA Records over a contract issue.
