A Luleå punk band that's been delivering social commentary since the mid-90s.
If you want to hear what they're about, 'I Have To Pretend' and 'Reduction Of Hate' give you the full picture. No frills, just that Swedish hardcore energy.
Raised Fist matters because they've kept Swedish hardcore punk alive for three decades without softening their edges. They're one of those bands that never stopped sounding like they had something to prove.
They formed in Luleå in 1993 and put out their debut 'Fuel' the next year. The albums kept coming every few years, 'Ignoring the Guidelines' in 1998, 'Veil of Ignorance' in 2004, 'Dedication' in 2008, with the same core lineup holding things together.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
