Ram

Ram is a band that formed in the early 1970s, with John Maus as their frontman. Maus had previously been part of Beat Pyramid before starting this project. Their music didn't fit neatly into the rock categories of that time, mixing in ambient and electronic elements that made them stand out from what was popular then.

Their first album came out in 1971 under the title 'Form and Void,' showing their experimental side from the beginning. They kept recording through the years, putting out records like 'Subtle Body' and 'Transmutations' that continued developing their sound. In 1982 they released 'All That Is Silent,' which included the track 'I Am The End.'

Some of their other songs include 'Awakening the Chimaera,' 'Disturbing The Priest,' and 'Flame Of The Tyrants.' The band's lineup has stayed mostly the same over time, with Maus remaining central to their work.
