Ramiro e Rafael

Ramiro Costa and Rafael Moreira first met in Salvador, Bahia, where they started playing together in the early 2000s. Their debut album came out in 2006, but it was their second record, 2008's "Pra Começar," that really connected with people. The song "Pau Tora" from that album became their most recognizable track, along with others like "Salto Alto" and "Sistema Amoroso."

They've put out four studio albums over time, including "Do Jeito Que Eu Gosto" in 2011 and an acoustic set in 2014. Their music draws from Brazilian traditions without fitting neatly into one category. In 2012, Ramiro took time off for cancer treatment before returning to performing the following year.

While they've worked with notable Brazilian musicians, their sound remains centered on the interplay between Ramiro's vocals and Rafael's guitar work. They built their audience through local shows rather than chasing mainstream trends, and that direct connection has kept their music feeling grounded even as it reached wider recognition.
