Rammsund formed in Berlin in 1994, with a lineup that's stayed mostly the same: Till Lindemann on vocals, Richard Kruspe on lead guitar, Paul Landers on rhythm guitar, Oliver Riedel on bass, and Christoph Schneider on drums. Their first album, Herzeleid, came out in 1995, followed by Sehnsucht in 1997.
Their 2001 album Mutter gave them songs like "Amerika" and "Hjartet mitt brenn," which became staples in their catalog.
They've released seven studio albums total, including Reise, Reise in 2004 and a self-titled record in 2019. Their sound mixes heavy guitar riffs with electronic elements, and they've built a following that extends well beyond Germany.
