Rasmus Thude is a Danish musician who formed a band under his own name in 2006 with bassist Mikkel Christensen. Their debut album came out in 2008, titled 'LLL (Love, Liquor, Lick It)', which included the track of the same name.
After that first album, the band put out several more records, including one called 'The Art of Separation'. Their sound shifted across releases, moving from the raucous rock of their debut into other styles like acoustic ballads and electronic experiments. They worked with other artists too, including Iggy Pop and Lou Reed at different points.
Rasmus Thude has been open about dealing with alcoholism and depression, which led to a break from music for a while. The band's lineup has included Christian Löffler on drums and Kris Kramer on keyboards alongside Thude and Christensen.
