Rauli Santos Compositor

Rauli Santos is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Minas Gerais. His father was a musician, and Rauli started playing in local bands as a young man. In 1986, he released the song 'Pai, eu Confesso,' which became his most recognized work.

That song's direct lyrics about confession and redemption connected with many listeners in Brazil, though it also drew some criticism from conservative religious circles. Rauli kept writing about similar themes of faith and relationships in later albums like 'Louvar É Preciso' and 'Servo Fiel.'

He worked with musicians including guitarist Rogério Lucena and bassist Adonias Souza, and collaborated with artists like Zé Ramalho. Another of his songs is 'Sem Você, Não Dá.'
