A Rio de Janeiro band mixing pop with Brazilian sounds since 2015.
For a good sense of their sound, try 'Cancelado' first. 'Confia' shows that mix of rhythms and quiet reflection too.
Their songs like 'Cancelado' and 'Confia' blend Brazilian rhythms with contemporary pop in a way that feels natural, not forced. The music deals with love, loss, and personal growth without much fuss, which gives it a grounded quality. You can hear that mix on their 2019 album 'Perfume' and 2021's 'Pássaro Livre'.
Rayanne Vanessa formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2015 around singer-songwriter Rayanne Venâncio. They released their debut album 'Quem Me Vê Cantando' in 2017, followed by 'Perfume' in 2019 and 'Pássaro Livre' in 2021. The lineup includes Venâncio on vocals and guitar, Bruno Sousa on guitar and vocals, Pedro Faria on bass, and Pedro Farias on drums.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
