Hopeful Desperation

It's been a few days

That i began to feel

Something inside us

Is not the way i ought to be

All i know is that somehow

You slipped away

And all what remains

Is just a mess inside of me

Because i see

Though you're beside me

I can not reach you

You're anywhere but here

Do you feel the waters rise outside

There's no place to hide

Drowning in hopeful desperation

But still i see the sun up in the sky

While clouds are passing by

Shining with hopeful desperation

Can we stop us from losing ourselves

Now i wonder if we can rearrange inside

And if there's a chance to find

A little space of time

So we gotta find out

Where to turn from here

Or if all the closed doors never

Can be opened again

Because i see
