Their debut album in 1994 was titled "MMA," which also became their most recognizable song.
That track "MMA" helped them gain a national following in Brazil. They followed it with albums like "Pombo Correio" in 1996 and "Coração de Melão" in 1998, continuing their style of lighthearted, rhythm-driven comedy music. In 2013 they released "Suave na Nave," which drew some criticism for its lyrics.
Renato was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004, but the duo kept performing and recording afterward. Their catalog includes later albums like "Alegria Geral" from 2015. They're known for a straightforward, playful approach that doesn't take itself too seriously.
