Adam's Cry

Something has changed, our eyes are open

What is this pain? Has He not spoken?

What have we done? Why did we listen?

To that forked tongue, oh how it glistened

I hear His voice he knows we're here

We made the choice and now I fear - that from

Paradise we will be going

And this life will surely end

No peaceful skies, no warm breeze blowing

We'll never walk with Him again

With sweat and tears, we'll work and toil

Until the curse of death it leaves us cold

From dust to dust, I will return

For paradise, oh how I yearn

For that new day, when once again

His breath of life, fills my soul within

To paradise I'll go

And my life will never end

Peaceful skies, and warm breeze blowing

By Your side, I'll walk again
