ed è la storia di un cavallino che morì.
Era così affezionato al suo padroncino
che anche quando arrivò nei Campi Elisi dei cavalli
lo cercò continuamente.
Lungo i pascoli del ciel
cavallino va.
Tutto d'oro è il tuo mantel
nell'azzurrità.
Vecchia luna di lassù,
mostragli il cammin.
Stelle d'oro, fate il coro
per le vie del ciel.
E volando, volando,
il cavallino arrivò sotto una nuvoletta rosa e si fermò
"Cosa cerchi?" Gli domandò una piccola stella.
"Cerco il mio padroncino" - rispose -,
"ma sono tanto stanco!".
Allora la stellina chiamò tante altre stelle
e tutte insieme gli fecero un coro.
Appena il cavallino si addormentò
l'Orsa Maggiore disse:
