Renato Restier was a musician from Lambari, Minas Gerais. His father was a musician who introduced him to Brazilian music early on. Restier's song "Céu de Lambari" became his most recognized work, named after his hometown.
He kept writing and performing through that period. His albums included self-titled work from 1973, "Coração de Papel" in 1976, and the 1980 release "Céu de Lambari."
He worked with musicians including his brother Roberto Restier on drums and guitarist Djavan, who later became known as a solo artist. Restier performed in Brazil and received the Ordem do Mérito Cultural from the Brazilian government.
