Renov formed in the early 2000s, playing a mix of hard rock, metal, and punk. Their debut album 'La Ciudad de las Sombras' came out in 2005, followed by 'El Sonido del Silencio' in 2008 and 'La Voz de la Esperanza' in 2012.
Their song 'Cicatrizes' drew attention for its direct lyrics about addiction and self-harm, becoming one of their most recognized tracks. Another song, 'Levanta,' also appears among their notable work.
The band's lineup has included Carlos Escobedo on vocals, IƱaki Quijano on guitar, and Xabi Estrada on bass. They built a following among Spanish rock listeners with their straightforward approach.
