Resound formed in Rome around 2006. Their debut album that year included 'Foglie Sparse,' a song that caught attention with its spare, haunting quality. The group's lineup featured Max Gazzè on vocals, Francesco Gazzè on bass, and Cristiano Santini on drums.
They released several albums over the next decade, including '1000 Volte Ancora' in 2009 and 'La Pioggia Sa di Te' in 2011. Another track, 'La Mia Faccia Inutile (Lei Che Ride),' appeared in their catalog. In 2018, they put out 'Magnifico,' which involved a collaboration with Tiziano Ferro.
Their lyrics sometimes touched on social themes, and in 2011, a song called 'La Nostra Vita' was reportedly kept off Italian radio. Max Gazzè left the band in 2015 to work on solo material.
