Reverb formed in Rio de Janeiro during the 1980s with Guto Goffi on vocals and guitar, Fabio Brüggemann on bass, Maurício Barros on lead guitar, and Rafael Malenotti on drums. Their debut album 'Viagem ao Centro da Cabeça' came out in 1985.
Their 1990 album 'Clube da Esquina 2' included 'Pode Crer,' which became one of their most recognizable songs. Other tracks like 'Só Precisava Ouvir Tudo Vai Dar Certo' and 'A Maldição de Ser Feliz' also appeared in their catalog.
They released several more albums including 'Nuvem Cigana' in 1994 and 'Paraíso Perdido' in 1998. The band's lineup remained consistent through these recordings.
