The band was led by vocalist and songwriter Fernando "Frank" Zevallos, and their music mixed gothic rock with industrial and Latin elements. Their lyrics often dealt with dark themes like death and the paranormal, which sometimes drew criticism.
They released their debut album "Los Monstruos" in 1993, followed by "El Reino de los Muertos" in 1995. The 1999 album "Lado Escuro" included the title track that became one of their better-known songs. Their sound developed a following in Peru's rock scene during that period.
