Rhino Bucket formed in Los Angeles in 1988 with Georg Dolivo on vocals, Greg Wilkerson on guitar, Reeve Downes on bass, and Pat King on drums. They built a following playing clubs around LA, and in 1991 released their self-titled debut album. That record included 'I Stand Before You,' which got some radio play and became a fan favorite.
After their debut, the band parted ways with Capitol Records in 1992 and went on hiatus for several years. They reformed in 1998 with Dolivo and Wilkerson joined by a new rhythm section, and have put out albums like 'Pain' in 1999 and 'Supertanker' in 2001. Their songs, including 'Beat To Death Like A Dog' and 'Bar Time,' stick to a straightforward hard rock sound with bluesy touches.
