Ricky Ullman sang the Disney song "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes." He was born in New York City in 1934 and sang in church choirs as a child, later joining the St. Thomas Choir of Men and Boys. At 16, he made his Broadway debut in the musical "Carousel."
In 1950, he was cast as the voice of Peter Pan in Disney's animated film. His recording of "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" became well-known. He released solo albums like "The Magic of Disney" and "Ricky Ullman Sings," and worked with arranger Ken Darby, composer Mack David, lyricist Al Hoffman, and the Disneyland Orchestra.
