Rime Loose was a Portuguese group that came together in the early 2000s. Their song "Estou a Te Amar" became widely known in Portugal around that time. The band had three members: Raquel Tavares sang lead, Paulo Pereira played guitar and wrote songs, and Pedro Correia handled bass and backing vocals.
They put out a self-titled album in 2003, which included "Estou a Te Amar" and another track called "Quero Ser Seu Namorado." Two years later, they released a live record called "Acústico." The group's sound had pop and folk elements, with some electronic touches mixed in.
At one point, Raquel Tavares dealt with a vocal cord injury that affected her singing. She recovered and kept performing. There was also some discussion about the lyrics to a song called "Dentro de Mim," which some people found too suggestive. The band didn't change the song.
