Rising Insane formed in 2003 with Tyler Gresham on vocals, Christopher Dorner on guitar, Josh Miller on bass, and Ryan Taylor on drums. They put out their first album, 'The Silent Divide,' in 2005, followed by 'Desolation' in 2007. A song from that second album, 'Dead & Gone,' became one of their better-known tracks.
They released two more albums, 'The World We Left Behind' in 2010 and 'Apologetic' after that. The band's music is generally described as metalcore, with a sound built around heavy riffs and rhythms.
