Risk formed in the late 1980s with Justin Blair on vocals and guitar, Tommy Yates on bass, and Mark Anderson on drums. Their debut album 'Alien Terror' came out in 1992, and the title track became their most recognizable song with its eerie synth intro and Blair's distinctive vocals.
Beyond 'Alien Terror,' they put out albums like 'The Ritual' in 1994, 'Into the Depths' in 1998, and 'The Ascension' in 2005. Songs like 'Squeeze My Skull & Brains' and 'Armageddon (Fight Back)' show their mix of melodic metal and aggressive riffs.
The band went through lineup changes over time, with Yates eventually leaving. Blair has remained the constant, with later members including bassist Adam Dixon and drummer Chris Riley.
